Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored ceramic material that that closely resembles the appearance of natural enamel and covers only the front surface of your teeth. Not only are they attractive, but they are also durable, stain-resistant and long-lasting.

How it works:
If suitable after consultation, the process begins with preparing the teeth. At your preparation appointment your dentist will remove a small amount of enamel (about 0.5 millimeters) from the front of your teeth to make room for the veneer. Digital scans will then be taken and sent to our lab, where your veneers will be created. During this time you will have temporary veneers in place to protect your teeth.
Once your porcelain veneers are ready, the dentist will check their fit and color before bonding them to your teeth using a special adhesive and light curing to create a seamless, natural look.
Proper oral hygiene plays an important role in the longevity of your dental veneers. In general, though, you will get the most out of your veneers if you treat them with the same care as your natural teeth.
