Invisalign Go - the answer to a straighter smile!
Invisalign treatment uses a series of custom-made aligners that are digitally designed by your dentist to straighten teeth. Invisalign clear aligners are custom made to fit over your teeth and encourage just the right amount of force to gradually move your teeth into alignment over time.
We’ll make sure you understand what treatment involves, including your payment options, so you can decide whether Invisalign Go is right for you. Once you begin treatment with your clear aligners you’ll wear a new set every 2 weeks, with each new set gradually moving your teeth further into position. We check your progress every 6 to 8 weeks to make sure treatment is on track. After your teeth are straightened, we'll provide a retainer that helps to hold your new smile in place for the long term.

Treatment FAQs
How does Invisalign Go treatment work?
Once you and your dentist agree that Invisalign treatment is right for you, your dentist will take photos, X-rays, and a scan of your teeth. These records will be used to make a 3D treatment plan, referred to as a ClinCheck® treatment plan, which will be used to design your custom-made Invisalign aligners. This 3D treatment plan will also depict your likely final results at the end of the treatment. Your custom-made Invisalign aligners will be produced and shipped to your dentist, who will then provide you with a series of aligners, typically 3 to 4 sets at a time. Each one will replace the next in the series approximately every 1-2 weeks until the final position for your teeth is achieved.
What is the difference between Invisalign and Invisalign Go?
Invisalign Go is a shorter treatment option and is therefore best suited for minor imperfections and smaller misalignments. With Invisalign Go, fewer aligners will be utilized, which means that the treatment program is much shorter, utilizing around 20 retainers on average, (with the option for further refinement if necessary.)
Why is Invisalign Go a good option?
Some of advantages of Invisalign Go include:
More affordable than a full course of Invisalign
Takes less time
Less invasive
Faster results
Is Invisalign Go suitable for everyone?
Invisalign Go clear aligners can treat a range of mild teeth straightening issues, and you will need to have an orthodontic assessment at Polar Dental to find out if Invisalign Go treatment is suitable for you. Generally, less severe teeth alignment issues such as overbite, open bite and crowded or gapped teeth can be treated with Invisalign clear aligners. If you have more complex orthodontic needs, we may recommend a referral to an Orthodontist.
We can discuss the potential options for you at your consultation and help you decide which one best suits your anatomy, budget and lifestyle.
