Invisalign

Invisalign treatment uses a series of custom-made aligners that are digitally designed by your dentist to straighten teeth.

Invisalign clear aligners are custom made to fit over your teeth and encourage just the right amount of force to gradually move your teeth into alignment over time.

• Easily removed for eating,  drinking and brushing and flossing 
• Maintaining good oral hygiene is easier with well aligned teeth  

Our dentists need to complete an orthodontic assessment before we can tell if you’re a candidate for Invisalign at Polar Dental. Generally, less severe teeth alignment issues such as overbite, open bite and crowded or gapped teeth can be treated with Invisalign clear aligners. If you have more complex orthodontic needs, we may recommend a referral to an Orthodontist.

Invisalign treatment at Polar Dental is provided by our certified Invisalign providers. We’ll make sure you understand what treatment involves and your payment options, so you can decide whether it’s right for you or your child.

• The first stage of treatment is designing your new smile. We take 3D digital images of your mouth and jaw and use computer software to plan the ideal movement for your teeth. This is where you get to see what your new smile could look like!
• Then we send the scans and photos to Invisalign who print the aligners 
• Then, you come in for your fit appointment where we provide you with your aligners and advice on how to clean your teeth and care for your aligners

You’ll wear a new set of aligners every 2 weeks, with each new set gradually moving your teeth into position. We check your progress every 6 to 8 weeks to make sure treatment is on track.

After your teeth are straightened, we'll provide a retainer that helps to hold your new smile in place for the long term.
